Belly Up!

Horray! A new oven! Our 30-year-old senile oven went belly up recently, so we were FORCED to buy a new oven! :) I found a killer deal on craig's list (our favorite store) for a 1-year-old GE Profile and we went for it. Guess what? It only takes 6 minutes to pre-heat (instead of 45+), has a digital clock and timer (instead of one of those spindle thingy's that broke decades ago), all of the burners work, and cooks the meals in the amount called for (instead of double the time)!!! Wohoo!

Bad news?? The rest of our kitchen is now begging for an upgrade!! Luckily Pete has the summer off and we can start painting everything in site! My sister (interior designer extraordinaire) has drafted up a model of what our kitchen COULD look like with little money and a lot of work.... and it looks fab. We can't wait to get started!

In the Future..... In the Present........This is Peter....Its going to take lots of work.

Aw, no fridge magnets in the future? I don't think I could handle a fridgemagnetless future. Good luck.

Hey, lets do an extreme home makeover, tear it down, gut it out, buy all new stuff on craigslist and do a re-install. After all you guys don't have anything better to do with your time or money. later, Dader

Congradulations Michelle you are some kind of wonderful. You are a perfect 3.999999999999999 or at least somewhere close to that. You make "the weapon" want to be a better man. Love you both. Hurry home so Pete isn't calling, and texting his mommy every 10 seconds looking for comfort... Dad
